Black Princess

A new breakthrough cultivar of striking colour with up to 38 rounded, waxy petals. The blooms turn darker every day from from wine-red to almost black. Young flowers are held above water surface. New leaves are purple, turning to an olive green. It grows well and is hardy in our climate. Will tolerate some shade. US Plant Patent PP09662.
